ANZSLA is delighted to announce the introduction of a new award in memory of Denis Callinan who was a well respected lawyer and ANZSLA member. The award is generously sponsored by the Gold Coast Traffic Offenders Program of which Denis Callinan was a founder.   

The Denis Callinan Award recognises members who render commendable community service in the field of sports law – perhaps pro bono work or the taking on of an unpopular but worthy cause.  Members are encouraged to nominate themselves, or fellow members.  The recipient of the award will be presented with a trophy and $2,000 in recognition of their outstanding community service.   The deadline for submissions is the first Friday in September.  For full details download the document from this page.
